Angela – Director
Coming from a Suffolk farming family and spending my childhood “on horseback”, it seemed only natural to choose veterinary medicine as a career. Following qualification from Bristol University in 1989, I joined this practice, then known as Redmond and Partners, and have stayed here ever since. In 1992, on retirement of Mike Redmond, I entered the business partnership and Wherry Veterinary Group was “born”.
Whilst I enjoy the diverse challenges which companion animal/equine practice has to offer my special interests are complex wound management and equine fertility,
The Arabian horse has been a long standing passion which I indulge when time allows, usually accompanied by my trusty companion, Border Collie, Sam.
My name is Charlotte. I graduated from The Royal Veterinary College in July 2010. After two years of rural mixed practice in East Yorkshire, I moved home to Bungay. I have been at Wherry Veterinary Group since August 2012.
I have a cocker spaniel called Dylan and a horse called Conkers.
I qualified from Glasgow Vet School in 2007 after previously completing a degree in Equine Science at De Montfort University in Lincoln. I spent my first 3 years in a mixed but mainly equine practice in Warwickshire before moving back to Scotland to take up a purely equine position. In January 2013 I came to Wherry as a locum to cover for a few months until a permanent vet could be recruited but when I realised I’d be rather sad to leave I decided that I had better take the permanent post! I especially enjoy equine reproductive work and small animal surgical cases.
In my spare time I compete my warmblood mare Lexi at British Dressage and enjoy long walks with my Labrador Hugo.
Victor is our large animal vet.
