I started work at Wherry Vets in 2007 as an ANA before successfully training and qualifying as a Veterinary Nurse. My particular areas of interest are animal behaviour and psychology, nutrition and wound management. I hold a diploma in animal behaviour and psychology, and am currently studying for a certificate in canine and feline veterinary nutrition.
I enjoy horse riding, reading, going to the cinema and gigs.
I qualified as a small animal Veterinary Nurse in 2000 and then went on to furthur my career as an equine Veterinary Nurse in 2002 – being one of 14 equine nurses in the country. Since relocating from Essex I have been working at Wherry Vets since 2009 as a small animal and equine nurse.
In what little spare time I have with a young baby, I compete my horse, walk my dog and care for my cats.
I started working at Wherry Vets in 2012 and I am now a 3rd year student nurse. My areas of interest are patient care and digital imaging.
In my spare time I enjoy skiing with friends, kayaking and I have a black lab who I enjoy walking at the weekends.
I have been an animal care assistant since 2004. I have a BTEC National Diploma in Animal Management in which I gained triple grade distinction. I was awarded best student and best student in exotic animals. I also have a certificate in pet loss support in veterinary practice.
I enjoy reading, walking my two german sherpherds Sadie and Maisie and spending time with my family and friends.
I went to college to study Animal Management which I gained 3 distinctions in. I then got a job at Wherry Vets as an Animal Care Assistant in 2011. This year I will be starting my Veterinary Nurse training, attending college 1 day a week.
In my spare time I enjoy going on bike rides with my husky Annushka, spending time with my friends and drawing.
